In a grand public celebration with official attendance, Al-Wadi Solar Energy Company, the exclusive agent of Okaya Batteries and Inverters in Yemen, inaugurated the Okaya Maintenance Center, Ghail Bawazir Branch, and the newly renovated company headquarters on the afternoon of Friday, September 20, 2024. The event was attended by Mr. Salem Abdullah Al-Atishi Bawazir, General Director of Ghail Bawazir District, and Mr. Marwan Saleh Al-Khalaqi, Director of the Industry and Trade Office in the district. 

The festivities began with a traditional “Al-Ada” dance performed by Qashmar Traditional Games Troupe, starting from the Okaya Maintenance Center and passing through the company’s branch before concluding at the Al-Wadi Solar Energy Company headquarters. 

During the event, Dr. Omar Saeed Bin Farijan, General Manager of Al-Wadi Solar Energy Company, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the company’s contributions to development and innovation in the renewable energy sector. He emphasized the company’s commitment to providing high-quality products and services with reliable guarantees that meet the needs of citizens. 

As part of the celebration, Qashmar Traditional Games Troupe honored Al-Wadi Solar Energy Company with a shield of appreciation, following the recently signed sponsorship agreement between the two entities.  The event concluded with a lottery draw, where 30 cash prizes totaling one million Yemeni riyals were distributed to attendees, along with a grand prize of an Okaya 200Ah battery
