As part of its commitment to supporting cultural heritage and preserving traditional folklore, Al-Wadi Solar Energy Company* has signed a one-year sponsorship agreement with *Qashmar Traditional Games Troupe, effective from September 2024 .

The agreement was signed at the company’s headquarters, with Dr. Omar Saeed Bin Farijan, General Manager of Al-Wadi Solar Energy Company, representing the company, while Muqaddam Awad Ahmed Bamtaraf Bahboker represented the troupe. Under this partnership, the “Okaya Batteries” logo—exclusively distributed in Yemen by Al-Wadi Solar Energy Company—will be displayed on the official attire worn by the troupe members at all events, celebrations, and occasions they perform at, both inside and outside Ghail Bawazir District*. 

This sponsorship reflects Al-Wadi Solar Energy Company’s dedication to preserving traditional games, which are an integral part of *Hadramaut’s cultural and historical identity.  The signing ceremony was attended by several company officials, including Mr. Hossam Ahmed Bin Ghawth, Human Resources Manager, Mr. Nayef Mohammed Al-Hayqi, Financial Manager, as well as Mr. Salem Saeed Bashkeel, a member of the troupe’s committee, and poet Mohammed Saeed Abbad
